About
Actionable Human Intelligence.
We live in a world of abundant information. Data is generated continuously, algorithms determine what we see, and artificial intelligence can produce analysis at unprecedented speed.
Extension 7 is built on a simple principle: there should still be a person on the other side of the data.
The data itself is also about people. Whether we are measuring households, companies, markets, municipalities or institutions, the numbers describe human activity: where people live, what they build, how organisations behave and how societies change.
Our datasets are assembled from primary and public sources, checked and structured by people. Our reports begin with the data, document their methodology and distinguish between what the evidence shows and what it does not.
We use modern tools to make this work possible, including automation and artificial intelligence. But the judgement, verification and responsibility for what we publish remain human.
Human in subject. Human in judgement. Useful in application.
That is what we mean by Actionable Human Intelligence.
